Our offline apps run on your device. They don't collect personal data, don't need an account and don't send anything back to us. This page explains what that means in practice.
Who we are
JYDEV LTD is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17506340). Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. We publish apps under the developer name JYDEV.
Apps this covers
This policy covers every app JYDEV LTD publishes that works offline, on Google Play and other stores, where the store listing links to this page. Apps with online features have their own policy, linked from their listing. How we handle data on our website is covered by our general privacy policy.
What the apps collect
- No data collection. We don't collect, store or receive personal data through these apps. There's no sign-up, no account and no login.
- Your data stays on your device. Anything you create or save in an app is stored locally. We can't see it and we can't recover it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
- No ads or tracking. The apps don't contain advertising, analytics or third-party tracking code.
- Permissions. If an app asks for a device permission, it's because a feature needs it to work on your device. The data that permission gives access to is used on the device and isn't sent to us.
- Device backups. Your phone may include app data in its own backups, for example Android backup to your Google account. Those backups are handled by your device and your account provider, and we have no access to them.
If a future version of an app needs to go online or collect any data, we'll update this policy and the app's store listing before that version is released.
App stores
You download our apps through an app store such as Google Play. The store collects its own information about you, including your account, purchases and installs, under its own privacy policy. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Play gives developers install numbers, ratings and, if you've allowed it on your device, crash reports. These show details like device model and Android version, and don't tell us who you are. We use them only to fix bugs and decide which devices to support.
Children
These apps don't collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because nothing is collected, there's no children's data for us to hold, share or delete.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you the right to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Because these apps don't send us any personal data, we hold none from them. Data an app created is on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it.

Changes
When this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects what an app collects, the app's store listing will be updated before the new version is released.
